WOWpaper + fabric: Sapience Chair re-do

I’m a big believer in using my WOWpapers on furniture. The Sapience Chair from Sentient Furniture here in Brooklyn gave me a great starting point to work with.

I applied my pattern to the back of the chair with a paper. I didn’t use the peel-and-stick finish here as I wanted a glossier look; this is the pre-pasted smooth finish. It was wetted and applied to the back.

Then the back and seat cushions were upholstered in the same pattern, same scale, in a satin-like fabric.

Final touch was black mirrored paper on the sides.

End result: – these chairs look super sophisticated! And they’re comfortable. Love these chairs and the people at Sentient.
